Voter Registration Efforts by External Groups Not Affiliated with Arizona Secretary of State

In a recent update, County Recorder Dana Lewis has informed Pinal County voters about unsolicited voter registration forms being mailed to residents. These forms are part of an ongoing voter registration outreach by private organizations, the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI).

These organizations are working to increase voter participation in the upcoming elections by sending voter registration forms to residents in all 15 counties of Arizona. It's important to note that these forms were not approved or sent by the Arizona Secretary of State or any County Recorder offices.

While the registration form used by VPC and CVI is not the final State form created by the Secretary of State's office, it complies with recent court rulings and legislative changes and will be processed by the County Recorders. Spanish language translations were done by an independent third party. The Secretary of State does not endorse any political group or candidate and is solely responsible for maintaining the official forms.

Key Deadlines for Voter Registration

  • Primary Election: July 1, 2024
  • General Election: October 7, 2024

Voters may receive these documents shortly after the mailing dates of May 23, August 24, and September 15. If you receive one of these forms and are already registered to vote, no action is required, and your voter registration remains active. However, it is always a good idea to verify your registration status and update any outdated information through the official state site at
